Have you been thinking about trying cloth with your new or expected baby? Not sure whether you'll like snaps or velcro, prefolds or pockets? Wondering exactly how you'll feel about the extra laundry? Now there is no reason not to give cloth a try! This package is also great for those already planning to use cloth but wanting the trim fit of XS sized diapers without having to purchase them.
Why you should rent this package!
- Try several different styles of diapers before investing your money. Learn the ins and outs of each type of diaper (prefolds, fitteds, pockets, and all-in-ones) first-hand and make an informed decision about what is right for your family!
- Avoid the need to purchase newborn-sized diapers (rent for up to 4 weeks - more can be arranged if needed, just email us). Perfect for the smaller newborn who can't quite fit One-Size diapers yet. Several One Size Diapers are included as well so you can see how they fit and work if you are considering purchasing them for your baby.
- Receive a hands-on cloth diapering "lesson" before you get started (for local customers), plus keep in touch with us during the trial so we can address any questions or problems you have!
- Have everything you need on hand! Pick it up at our location in St. Catharines or arrange to have your package shipped or delivered to you.
- Rental includes a $25 gift certificate (per week of rental) toward a purchase of $150 or more at The Cloth Diaper Shop (upon return of the package)!
- Package rental makes a great Baby Shower Gift!
The Details:
- Contact us before or just after placing your order to arrange rental dates and pick up/delivery time.
- You'll receive a package of new or gently used diapers and accessories - in gender neutral colours and newborn sizes (will fit 5-12 lbs or so). There will be a range of brands and styles, as well as several One-Size diapers, so you can get a feel for what types of diapers you prefer.
- Diapers will be pre-washed and ready for use when you receive them.
- You'll receive a tutorial on how to use the diapers, care instructions, and detergent to use during the trial. Email and phone support is available anytime during the trial!
- Normal wear and tear and staining is expected. Any other damage will be assessed upon return (rips, bleaching, broken items, etc.)
- $25 Gift Certificate will be issued upon return of the package for each paid week of rental ($50 for 2 weeks, $75 for 3 weeks, etc). Total purchase must be $150 or more to use gift certificate

- $30 (taxes included) per week for up to 6 weeks (weeks can be purchased all at once or added on as needed)
- $250 deposit required (cash, cheque, or credit card payment - will be returned or refunded to you when diapers are returned)
When adding to cart, select the number of weeks you wish to rent along with your method of choice for payment and deposit. The amount for one week will total $30 (or $280 with credit card deposit) once tax is added ($60 or $310 for 2 weeks and so on).
*Customers unable to pick up their package locally can choose to have the trial package shipped. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the package back to us once your trial is over*
