Payments We accept PayPal (both funded and unfunded) and, through PayPal: Debit, PayPal e-checks, and all major credit cards. Orders paid by e-check will be shipped once the e-check clears – usually 5 business days. We also accept cash from local customers who are picking up an order in person, and Email Money Transfers from your bank's website, if they offer them. To use an Email Money transfer, select the EMT option at checkout and leave the password to accept the money in the comments section of your order. Please verify the total amount from your order confirmation before sending.
Returns and Exchanges The Cloth Diaper Shop will accept returns or exchanges of unwashed and unused products within 14 days of receipt. We provide exchanges or full refunds minus shipping costs. You must contact us with your order number, the product(s) you wish to return or exchange, and the reason for return. If we receive a return that we have not been contacted about before receiving it, it will not be accepted. - Please try on clothing and diapers before washing as we will not accept washed or used items.
- If you order a set of diapers and want to determine if the product is right for your baby, prewash and use only one diaper so the rest will still be eligible for return if needed.
- The customer will cover the cost of shipping the item back to us unless the item is deemed defective (see below).
- If you would like to exchange an item, please indicate this when you contact us and we will set aside the item you wish to exchange for (please check the store for availability). We will ship the item to you once we receive your returned item.
- If the product is defective (all items are inspected carefully before being shipped), we will ask you to send the item back to us. Upon receipt of the item, and determination of its condition, we will send you a replacement and issue a refund of your shipping cost as determined by us, using Canada Post’s shipping calculator. If a replacement is not in stock, we will issue a full refund for the item and your shipping cost. We will contact you about the availability of a replacement item when you first email us about the defect and we will set it aside for you.
*** Please keep in mind that if a diaper is leaking, this is not considered defective. We take pride in offering high quality diapering products but please realize that not all diapers will work for all babies. Leaks can occur for many reasons, including inadequate pre-washing, fit (please try on before washing or using), or inadequate absorbency for your baby’s needs. In this case an extra insert or doubler, or different absorbing material such as hemp may help. Please check out our FAQ or our Facebook group for solutions if you are experiencing leaks!
